Abstract
Autonomous robotics have become common to many businesses for operations, but what about for the home and garden? There are many smart devices in homes today, but nothing that is extremely beneficial to the homeowner. It seems logical that science and demand would collide at some point to provide self serving homes. A great starting point for a “smart home” would be in the garden. With water becoming more scarce and emissions rising, gardening is an excellent way to remedy these two problems. Many people have already begun as seen in the new surge of young avid garners, but there are still some who don’t have the time. For those who are busy, the creation of an alternative to sprinklers would be able to promote healthier plant growth and possibly reduce water bills.Autonomous water systems may just be the answer to this, and may even out perform long time plant owners.
